The 21st OVI, Co. E, is a non-profit living history organization dedicated to portraying a Western Theater, Federal Infantry company of the American Civil War.
Based in Northwest Ohio; our members assemble at least once a month between spring and fall in order to recreate the lifestyle of the common Civil War infantry soldier.
At local historical events, national battle reenactments, Memorial Day parades, remembrance ceremonies and school presentations, our members, through the use of authentic reproduction arms, equipment, uniforms and tactics of the 1860's educate the public about the history of both the Civil War and the original 21st Ohio regiment.
The 21st OVI Co. E is also a proud participant in the preservation of Civil War sites, graves of Civil War veterans and original artifacts pertaining to both the 21st Ohio and the American Civil War.
